The interlocking GG motif traces back to Guccio Gucci, who founded the house in Florence in 1921, and became a signature in the 1960s.
Guccissima - the GG pressed directly into the leather instead of printed on canvas - became a Gucci staple in the 2000s, following the Tom Ford era of 1994-2004.
This pair is approximately from the 2000s, with a sharp pointed toe and a slim high stiletto heel.
Made in Italy, with a leather lining and the Gucci logo on the insole.
